내 아들 김우주에게
사랑하는 우주에게 글을 보낸다.
충북대에서 보내온 글을 읽고 좋은 기회라 생각해서 마음을 먹긴 했는데, 막상 무슨 말부터 써야 할이지 한참동안 고민을 했었다.
우리가족의 셋째 아들로 첫 선을 보인 199년 12월 17일 찬바람이 불던 겨울 오후 1시 50분. 그 날은 아빠가 회사 진급시험을 보러 가야 하는 날이어서 네 얼굴만 잠간 보구서 청주로 시험 보러 가였었지. (천안에 살 때)
위로 누나들과 너까지 셋을 감당하기엔 무척 힘들고 어려움이 정말 많았지만 따듯한 마음씨와 배려하는 아빠의 도움이 있었기에 견딜 수 있었던 것 같애.
네가 처음 초등학교에 입학해 잘 적응을 못하고 힘들어하던 시기가 있었는데 한 학기동안 선생님과 친구들의 도움으로 무척 잘 지내서 많이 고마웠었다.
중학교 시절 진호문제로 부모님과의 갈등이 좀 있었지만 서로의 의견을 존중해서 네가 원하는 쪽으로 결정할 수 있어서 정말 다행이었다.
고등학교에 가서 학교생활도 공부하는 것, 친구들 간의 우정 여러 가지 모두를 어려움 없이 잘 해 주어서 엄마, 아빠는 뿌듯하고 대견스러웠단다.
친구들과 축구하다 다리를 다쳐 맘고생이 좀 있었지만 이젠 건강해져서 얼마나 다행인지 감사해하고 있단다. 항상 가족의 소중함을 깨닫기 바란다.
충북대에 합격했으니 네가 하고자 하는 꿈과 희망을 이루기 위해 꾸준히 노력해 주기 바라며 작고 궂은일부터 천천히 성실하게 해 주길…….
좋은 친구들 만나서 맑고 진실되게 서로 이해하며 아끼고 사랑해주길 바란다.
너에게 주어진 기회는 눈깜빡할 새 지나가 버린다는 생각으로 한번 온 기회는 놓치지 않고 잡을 수 있는 우주가 되어주길 바란다.
스승님의 가르침을 항상 감사하는 마음으로 귀기울이고 받아들여 네 것으로 만드는 지혜롭고 따듯한 우주가 되길 진심으로 바라며 항상 웃는 모습 건강한 모습 잃지 않길 엄마, 아빠는 기도한다. 후회없는 삶을 살기 바라며....
